Ayurveda morning routine
The morning routine also regulates a person's biological clock , supports digestion, absorption and assimilation and creates self-esteem, discipline, peace, happiness and, not to be underestimated, longevity.

Most of us fear both life and death. Longevity doesn't mean that a person won't die. Rather, it means that the body and mind can live longer through regular practice of the Ayurvedic morning routine and the use of Ayurvedic products free of chemical additives, preservatives, or dyes. The human body is cleansed, cared for, and kept free of toxins and harmful substances daily.
The Ayurveda morning routine
in 9 simple steps
1 - Get up early
The time before sunrise is full of harmony and energy, so Ayurveda recommends getting up early in the morning before sunrise. If the situation allows, stroll barefoot through the fresh grass like a stork for a few minutes. Look up to the sky and, in a prayer position , give thanks for your life on this wonderful earth. Do this 2-3 times a day if you wish.
2 - Pray before you get out of bed
Every prayer is answered! Everyone can pray!
Dear God, you are within me, in my breath, in every bird, and in every mighty mountain. Your sweet touch reaches all, and I am well protected. Thank you, dear God, for this wonderful and unique day that lies ahead. May joy, love, peace, and compassion be a part of my life and that of all those around me on this day. I heal and I am healed.
This prayer is just an example. Feel free to say your own prayer.
3 - Drink 1-2 cups of hot water
Hot water immediately after getting up activates and cleanses the body channels, the so-called srotas, which have become sluggish due to the night's sleep.
Then take a teaspoon of Chyavanaprasam Gold with honey instead of sugar. This is an original recipe from classical Ayurvedic texts. Over 30 high-quality, natural herbs to strengthen the body and mind.
4 - General cleaning measures
Clean your mouth and teeth after passing stool and urine. Use an Ayurvedic toothpaste without fluoride and get an Ayurvedic tongue scraper , such as the therapeutic copper one available at Ayurveda Paradise. These tongue scrapers are also available in stainless steel or silver-plated.
5 - Abhyanga: The full-body oil massage
A morning full-body oil massage is an important aspect of your daily routine. Ayurveda recommends this massage every day because it has a rejuvenating effect and helps relieve fatigue.
If you get tired of using the oil massage, alternate with a natural Ayurvedic body lotion .
Our Ayurvedic herbal oils are certified, valuable, and traditionally prepared. The Ayurvedic oils are hand-blended for two to three days to support your skin's natural needs. The plant compounds, combined with the oil, can penetrate deep into the skin's cell membranes and exert their effects there, something a body lotion cannot.
6 - Nasya or Jala-Neti nose care
Nasal application of sesame oil or warm water is helpful for preventing and treating problems of the nasal cavities and paranasal sinuses. We carry various nasal oils at Ayurveda Paradise.
7 - Gandhusha Oral Care
Holding sesame oil or ghee in the mouth strengthens the jaw and voice, nourishes the cheeks, improves taste perception and appetite, prevents dry mouth, chapped lips, cavities, toothaches, sensitive teeth, and strengthens the teeth in general. We also carry an oral care oil for Gandhusa.
8 - Udvartana dry massage
If you wish, you can also use a dry massage with various plant powders or chickpea flour to remove excess oil from the body's surface. It also improves circulation and promotes skin radiance and color.
9 - Snana - A bath or shower
A final bath or warm shower is used to cleanse the body. After the previous procedures, soap is no longer necessary. However, if deemed necessary, a mild soap may be used. We carry several Ayurvedic soaps and Ayurvedic shower gels in our range.
Finally, treat yourself to a healthy breakfast. Eat mindfully, spoonful by spoonful, and devote yourself exclusively to your breakfast. No cell phone, no television, no usual discussions, and no newspaper – only your breakfast and you are important!
