Udvarthana is a stimulating, Ayurvedic, energizing dry massage that offers a strong peeling effect and cleanses, smoothes and firms the skin, including the conjunctiva. It can also be used in the shower. 

Udvartana can be helpful for itching and a tendency to hives. Kapha and Pitta constitutions that cannot tolerate sesame oil, for example, can benefit from a light powder massage. The massage causes deep relaxation and balance and supports the release of physical and mental blockages.

Areas of application: Reduction of fatty tissue, improvement of skin appearance, creates tender and firm skin. 

Promotes blood circulation, cellulite treatment, deep relaxation, letting go of physical and mental blockages, without preservatives or flavorings.

Strong Vata symptoms
If you have strong Vata symptoms such as very dry skin, you can make a paste with this herbal peeling. Rub each other lovingly together in the shower and rub your body together.

100gr is enough for 2 people/applications. Stir in Udvarthana powder with approx. 50ml Vata or Pitta Thailam and as much water as necessary until a creamy paste is formed. Apply the paste to the body or problem areas. Massage gently and lovingly onto the body using rubbing movements for about 10 minutes. If the skin turns red, stop peeling and then take a warm shower. You will be surprised at how soft your skin becomes as a result of the massage. Despite the powder, the skin doesn't dry out. Can also be used locally to eliminate fat deposits and cellulite.
