^{The fish oil used in BalanceOil Tutti Frutti is a 20/10 EPA/DHA fish oil (compared to the industry standard of 18/12), sourced from select sources, with a unique essential fatty acid profile for both Omega-3 (EPA, DHA, DPA) and Omega-7 (POA, VA). Our selected fish oils are sourced from short-lived, wild-caught, small pelagic fish. These are primarily anchovies, but sardines and mackerel are also included. All of our oil comes from fisheries certified by Friend of the Sea for sustainable fishing in unpolluted waters. This is ecologically imperative and essential to obtaining a high-quality oil that is free of heavy metals, PCBs, and other toxins.}

^{The fish are gently steamed (no chemicals or solvents are used at any stage of this process), and then the whole fish is pressed to extract the oil (approximately 3–5% of the fish). As with all fish oils, the oil must undergo a four-step refinement process. This is carried out by the manufacturer, LYSI, in Iceland and eliminates flavors, odors, and any environmental contaminants that could otherwise spoil the product. Therefore, our fish oil complies with all EFSA, FDA, and other strict regulations found around the world. BalanceOil Tutti Frutti is made with extra virgin olive oil from the Spanish Picual olive, selected for its high omega-9 content and very high antioxidant content. The olives are harvested and pitted before harvest, so only the fruit is cold-pressed. The result is an extra virgin oil rich in omega-9 (oleic acid) and very high (over 750 mg/kg) in antioxidants (so-called polyphenols). These polyphenols not only protect the BalanceOil Tutti Frutti in the bottle, but also, and especially, your cells.

^{Natural tocopherols
Mixed tocopherols are commonly used as antioxidants in dietary supplements. The natural tocopherols used are made from special GMO-free, highly refined soybean oil distillates, which are further refined to ensure they do not contain soy proteins. This means no allergens are present in the product. The typical composition in BalanceOil+ is: alpha, beta, gamma, and delta tocopherols.}

BalanceOil+ contains vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol). We use natural vitamin D3 from lanolin, a natural fat found in sheep's wool. The vitamin D3 is produced by dissolving a vitamin D3 precursor from lanolin. This is then chemically modified and activated by UV radiation. The chemical process is comparable to the process that occurs in human skin when exposed to sunlight, which produces vitamin D3.
