Vacha - Acorus calamus - is a 60-100 cm high plant with a thumb-thick rootstock (rhizome), which forms a triangular stalk, sessile sword-shaped leaves and small green flowers. The root is used in Ayurvedic nutrition. The root powder, which is finely and gently ground (below 40°C) in our production, comes from our Indian and Sri Lankan fair trade and organic projects.
