Ayurvedic properties
The Ayurvedic spice powder Amla Churna (also Amalaki) balances all 3 doshas. Amla contains an exceptional amount of vitamin C. In India it is also called Amla Churnam or Amla Choornam. Like all of Nimi's spice blends, Amla Churna was made according to the recommendations of the Ayurvedic texts in Sanskrit.
Since the Amalaki fruit balances all three doshas Vata, Pitta and Kapha, it is Tridosha and is considered the most important strengthening and rejuvenating agent in Ayurveda (Rasayana).
The Amla fruit is a real all-rounder. It contains a lot of heat-resistant vitamin C, carotene, riboflavin, iron and calcium and supports your immune system.
