Triphala Churna as well as Triphala capsules or the Mus is a Rasayana (rejuvenating and long-lasting properties are promoted regardless of age. Triphala contains the Indian gooseberry, Haritaki and Bibhitaki and they are mixed in equal amounts. According to Ayurvedic teaching (Sanskrit) the consistent Consumption of Triphala (with honey or ghee) helps a person to live healthy without discomfort. In old age, ulcers tend to grow, which can be treated excellently with Triphala and in most cases go away. Triphala is slightly laxative and cleanses the blood.
