Beschreibung

In search of the very old Ayurvedic traditions Brahmi, one comes across two plants, both of which are traditionally used in a similar way according to Ayurveda. Accordingly, when buying Brahmi, you cannot always be sure which of the two plants you are getting. Only the scientific name gives information about which herb it is actually about. Bacopa monnieri, that we offer you here, or Centella asiatica.

From an Ayurvedic point of view, a distinction must be made between the two plants mentioned, Bacoopa monnieri and Centella asiatica. Because Bacopa monnieri is cold and bitter in quality, while Centella asiatica is sweet and heavy. In Ayurveda Bacopa monnieri described as the stronger Brahmi. In addition to Brahmi, there are also other names for Bacopa monnieri, which provide information about the importance of the plant in Ayurveda. Sarasvati, the goddess of wisdom, and Medhya, wise or wise. Ayurveda uses the fresh pressed juice of the plant and the dried powder, Brahmi Churna, which we offer you here in organic quality. Brahmi Churna tastes quite bitter. That is why we also offer Brahmi as an extract in vegetarian capsules. Free of additives such as yeast, sugar, gluten, colorings and flavors and of course tested and analyzed for quality.
