What is Kumkumadi Oil and why is it gaining popularity among the general public?
According to ancient Ayurvedic wisdom Safran one of the most valuable ingredients when it comes to beauty. For this reason, Kumkumadi Tailam is revered as a "miraculous elixir". Kumkumadi oil - loosely translated as saffron oil - is a combination of 21 botanical ingredientsthat are designed to treat multiple skin problems.
While this powerhouse blend has been around for years, it's now gaining popularity in the burgeoning native beauty space. It is noticeable both in its original form and as a component of skin care products such as serums, sunscreens, scrubs and eye creams.

One of the defining ingredients of oil is saffron, which also earns the oil the nickname saffron oil, although the base oil is usually sesame.
Benefits of Kumkumadi Oil
The reason for the growing popularity of kumkumadi oil is its ability to serve different skin problems and types. Overall, it is said to reduce signs of aging such as wrinkles, fine lines, dark spots, blemishes and pimples. It is also said to help in reducing hyperpigmentation.
Its key ingredient, saffron oil, helps brighten skin tone from within – turmeric treats cuts, burns and acne, sandal oil smoothes skin, and liquorice reduces pimples.
Rich in antioxidants, the oil reduces the skin's inflammatory response that causes pigmentation and also acts as an antibacterial ingredient in combating acne-related problems. The ancient science of Ayurveda basically relays all of its best skincare treatments into one highly concentrated serum.
